Using mismatched teapots, saucers, cups, bottles, jars, and silver, and an incredible mix of colors and textures—romantic and soft roses and peonies, structured and exotic pods and protea, delicate and lacy maidenhair fern and hydrangea—a most charming, eclectic design evolved. Embracing the summer season, fruit was also incorporated in small bowls and plates—vibrant citrus and juicy strawberries made unexpected appearances alongside the floral displays and guests were as delighted to munch on them as to enjoy their beauty in the setting. A charming dessert display was created for the bride with fresh baked cupcakes and her favorite childhood sweets, and was made complete with individual colorful fabric letters displaying the words "love is sweet."
